Ugh, 86 patches applied to my USB bk tree today. I think I've almost caught
up with all of the pending ones for it now.
Thanks to Nish for the zillion and one patches that changed the way usb_control_msg and usb_bulk_msg uses milliseconds
instead of jiffies now. It helps in getting rid of thinking in terms of
jiffies and more in real time units (and helps to prevent errors if you forget
that HZ is different on different platforms...)And again the Linux kernel api is changed in subtle ways that will driver a out-of-the tree driver author mad.
